How 5G Network will be the Ultimate Game Changer?
5G will be as much as 100 times faster than today’s mobile networks.
In this era of science and technology, the internet has been widely used all over the world. With the advancement of other gadgets, the internet has also been advancing. No one in this modern world can live with the seclusion of others. In early ages, it was difficult to communicate. It took days or even months to send a message through letters. But now all the means have been advanced, humans have developed a lot. All is just a matter of a single click. We can travel the world by sitting on your couch.
The history of the internet begins with the development of electronic computers in the 1960s. Internet (interconnected networks) is the global system of interconnected networks with the help of standardized communication protocols. It was invented by Robert E. Kahn and Vint Cerf. They made it all to a single tap. The Internet has revolutionized the computer and communications world like nothing before. The invention of the telegraph, the telephone, the radio, and the computer set the stage for unprecedented integration of capabilities.
What is 5G Network?
Starting from ARPANET the internet has advanced to a broadband connection and wireless connections. Every person is now using 2G,3G, 4G data connections. Technology researchers made a breathtaking advancement in the internet connection. They took it to the level of 5G Network connection which is nowadays an overwhelming topic of discussion. Back in 2009, 4G was launched with the promise of delivering faster than ever Internet, leaving 3G behind in the dust. Enter 5G; not just a bigger, better and faster 4G. It’s a brand-new architecture, designed from the ground up to support exciting new use cases
So what is basically 5G Network? What will be its pros and cons? Will it be beneficial? All these questions are been generating in the audience’s mind. 5G networking; also known as the fifth generation of cellular networking, is expected to provide higher bandwidth and data rates with fewer transmission delays. Early tests exemplify the magnitude of the impact. These tests have suggested that 5G network will be as much as 100 times faster than today’s mobile networks. Bandwidth will be measured in gigabits rather than megabytes.
5G would be a great game-changer for the whole world. Similar to 4G, 5G is a globally consistent technical standard characterized by stability and scalability. However, the application scenario goes far beyond the optimized use of smartphones. The fifth generation of mobile data transmission is working to create a universal, nationwide network connection. A major study found that 5G will have the potential to “unlock up to $12.3 trillion revenue across a broad range of industries”.
Along with the pros, 5G like every other thing has some cons that are the main concern of critics. As 5G uses high-frequency radio signals there will be less bandwidth which will lead to less coverage. More hardware power will be needed to process a high amount of data. It would be much expensive not every person will choose to adopt it. It will have more security threats as compared to the previous connections.
